35 Years

Today, I turn thirty-five. I have lived a lifetime it seems in these few SHORT years I have been on this Earth.

I have been foolishly rebellious and, by His grace, openly obedient.

I have seen the consequences of my sin hurt me and those around me.

I have seen the kindness of the Savior redeem the mess and turn it into a masterpiece of His Design.

I have followed after my own dreams only to discover His Plans were what I was made for.

I have experienced life and tasted death.

I have rocked babies and permanently laid babies down to rest.

I have walked the path few will walk, yet I have seen the trail of the Great Goodness of the Lord in my journey.

I have experienced great joys, many defeats, small victories, and Gospel saving grace.

One thing I know to be true: God is God Enough to do the same in your life.

“Come, let us return to the Lord; for he has torn us that he may heal us.” (Hosea 6:1)

  2. Amen! I cannot wait to read your story… God’s story. His grace amazes me, upholds me, overpowers me. I thank God for His continual pursuit of us and His linking our lives perfectly for His glory and our good. Love you, sister!
